£0 remaining for a tumble dryer
This lady is the carer for her disabled husband who has a brain injury and suffers from epilepsy. He has now had a stroke and is doubly incontinent which means his wife has to wash the bedding and clothing every single day. She desperately needs a tumble dryer so she can cope with the wet washing. Between them, they receive Disability Living Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance and Personal Independence Payment. This barely covers their monthly costs so please can you help?
Please would you consider helping V? She is a single mum of four children who suffers with fibromyalgia and asthma, and has several mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, dependent personality disorder (DPD) and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). V is struggling financially, due to the increased cost of living and surviving on benefits alone, as she is unable to work. Her two eldest children are disabled and it is important that the home is kept warm. All money goes to looking after V's children and ensuring they are fed and clothed, leaving nothing for herself.
L is a single lady who is struggling to get by, due to the cost of living crisis. She has been evicted and forced to move to a property with a much higher rent, which the local Housing Allowance does not cover. L has accumulated some debts, which she has sought help for from her local Citizens Advice. Would you please consider helping this lady with some shopping vouchers whilst we assist her and ensure she is receiving all the help she is entitled to? Thank you!
I have been working with a Christians Against Poverty client who has recently been released from prison, but is unable to gain access to the housing register, due to his previous conviction. This has resulted in him living in his car for the past six months. His car has broken down and our client is trying to get the money together to repair the vehicle (on the Eco Unit) in order to be able to move his car to another location.
