£0 remaining for a fridge freezer
P, who has been a drug user for most of his life, hasn't previously been able to keep a stable home and this has stopped him from coming off the drugs. He now has a stable home and is being supported with a methadone recovery programme, but his home doesn't have a fridge freezer. P has serious heart and circulation problems, which make trips to the shop for food very difficult. A fridge freezer would mean he could stock up and shop less often, which would make a huge difference to his daily life.
S is a mum of eight children!! Her only income is Universal Credit, and life is a daily struggle to make ends meet with no spare money or savings. S rents her carpets in the living room and on the stairs, but cannot afford them anywhere else in the house. We have an offer of free carpets, but just need to pay for them fitting. Any help will be really gratefully received.

Our applicant, whose partner left him, had to move as his landlord sold the flat. He arranged to move the white goods on departure, but was let down by the remover and, consequently, the landlord was uncooperative and the white goods were left. Our applicant has obtained a cooker, but is still in need of a fridge freezer, washer and some carpets. He suffers from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and is unlikely to be able to work, although hopes to return to employment. Food and financial advice has been obtained, via Foodbank. Please can you help this man to get a fridge freezer?

V is a single mum on a very low income. Her home does not have carpet in the living room or hall and stairs and this makes them cold. It is unwelcoming and dangerous for the children to play and walk on. We have had the carpet donated, but need £120 to pay for the fitting. Having carpet would make the house safer and warmer, and feel more like a home that V and her family can enjoy and take pride in.
