S has recently been given a tenancy from a social landlord after a lengthy period of rough sleeping and temporary accommodation. He is being supported by the Ancora Project who are helping people in crisis. S has been a user of drugs in the past who is elated with his current circumstances and really wants a fresh start. He receives basic Universal Credit after being declined a Personal Independence Payment plan. S is in need of a washer as he is unable to afford to save, due to his health issues.
This single mum is starting afresh after a sudden breakdown in marriage. She is suffering from mental health, due to the breakdown, and is desperate for wardrobes and chests of drawers for herself and the children’s room, as they are currently using cardboard boxes. Mum is on a very low income and family members are supporting as much as they can with food and getting mum to mental health appointments. Benefits are not yet in place and the children are not sleeping, due to all the upset. Please can you help?

D, a single mum who is in recovery from addiction, is doing an amazing job at changing her and her daughter's situation since her daughter recently came back into her care. Mum is attending day rehabilitation, dealing with her debts and attending a budgeting course. She has recently moved into a new flat with her daughter, but she is sleeping on the sofa so that her daughter can have the bed. A new bed would enable D to rest better and to continue to make the positive changes she is already making in her life.

These parents have three children; five year old twins and a seven year old. Two are none verbal, the third has autism, and they are all in nappies. Mum and dad are unable to work, as the children's needs are so high that, after school and in the holidays, they both need to be there to care for the children, however, they do volunteer at our church during the week. Mum and dad desperately need some bedroom furniture for the children's room, as they are currently using laundry bags to keep their clothes in.
