£0 remaining for carpet fitting
M, who is mum to two autistic children, has no floor coverings in her home and, unfortunately, the children really suffer without carpets, to the point that it's a real struggle for them to relax in their home. M has no savings and doesn't work so her income is low. She can't afford carpets, but we can provide them free of charge if we could get a little help with the fitting costs. Please can you help us to make her house safe and comfortable for her children?
R has recently had to move, due to a no fault eviction. His new property has no carpets anywhere upstairs, meaning it is cold, damp and unsafe for his children. R's only income is Universal Credit and he has no savings. We have an offer of free carpets and just need help with fitting costs.
J is a single mum with multiple health problems including Hodgkinson's lymphoma, a bicuspid heart and heart failure. Mum cannot work, due to her health, so her income is low and she has no savings. J needs carpets in her lounge, hall, stairs, landing and two bedroom and feels her health is being affected because of the lack of suitable flooring. We have access to free carpets, but please can you help us with the fitting charges to make J's house into a warm, comfortable home?
E, a single mum of three children, works full-time and receives some Universal Credit to top-up her wages. Mum needs a car to do her job, as she works in the community supporting vulnerable disabled people with their care needs. Her car has failed its MOT and will cost £395 to repair. E has no savings, but another charity is offering to help with some of the repair costs. If mum doesn't keep her car on the road, she will lose her job, which will be devastating for her family. Any help would be amazing!
