S suffers from severe mental health problems and we have been supporting her with her debts and finances. She has a family of three children and we have now found her new accommodation, but she has very little furniture. We have found a second-hand sofa which will make it a little more comfortable for S and her family. Please can you help her?
E, a single gentleman living on his own, has a chronic long-term condition. He has just received his refugee leave to remain in the UK and has been moved to a temporary accommodation which he shares with four others. Unfortunately, E has been cooking his food and puts it in a shared fridge, but wakes up to nothing. He is not working, due to his illness, and requests financial support to purchase a fridge freezer, some storage boxes, cabinets and TV for his room, to avoid losing his food stuffs.
This young gentleman, who is in supported accommodation with us, has a history of addiction in relation to chronic anxiety. He had secured a gardening job with a contact from his local church, but has had to give it up due to his anxiety. This gentleman is struggling financially and would like help to purchase a bike, primarily to help with his mental health and also for exercise and the outdoors, two of his great loves. It would also assist him with getting to church, appointments and interviews in the future.
A is forty seven years old and has three children under the age of sixteen. He is a single dad and works as a self-employed taxi driver so he can work around the children. Dad has recently had a bad fall and has been unable to work, due to pain in his back. He has not been receiving any money, has quickly used what little savings he had and is really struggling now. We have put A in touch with the foodbank at our church and he is so grateful for this. Please could you help top-up their gas and electric and provide some food?
