£0 remaining for emergency electric top-up
This lady has had an incredibly tough time with her mental health in the recent few months. She is soldiering away while raising her two children, but her anxiety is often crippling and it makes it hard to keep going. Through this time she has fallen into debt which will, in time, be sorted through the local Christians Against Poverty centre, but this has left her in a really tough place. This money will be used for an electricity top-up which will give this lady a much needed short-term boost, as she seeks to deal with everything step by step.
C is currently off work because of health issues including poor mental health. She has a 16 year old son who has had a growth spurt and outgrown his school uniform, football boots and his current clothing. He is in trouble at school for not having football boots. The washing machine also recently malfunctioned, damaging a full wash of her clothing too. C has just started working with Christians Against Poverty and doesn't have spare money for replacement clothes or size 10 football boots.
This gentleman has an opportunity to move back closer to his support networks. He has endured an incredibly difficult time in his current property, which now holds terrible memories of family tragedy, and is also removed from those who could best help him cope. This gentleman is hoping this move will bring a fresh start and a new lease of life as he seeks to move on. Given his low income, he cannot afford the cost of the van which will be covered by this funding, if raised.
For some time, this lady has been separated from her family and solid support networks. This has made things difficult for her, affecting her mental health. Thankfully, the opportunity has come up for a house swap with someone in the right location, something she is very keen to take advantage of. Living on a low income, though, means the cost of a moving van is difficult so this funding, if raised, will cover this cost.
