£0 remaining for attending a Christian camp
E is a committed church member who helps with sound system each Sunday. His family have sought asylum in UK and are unable to fund him and his sibling to attend the annual week long Newday Christian camp, with his youth group. This young man would love to attend, and his life could be transformed by hearing about Jesus, being with inspirational Christian leaders and many other young people.
S, a refugee who is in her sixties, is from Nigeria and is having a very difficult time here together with her daughter, due to racism. We are helping her where we can. As mum has no device apart from her phone, it is very hard for her to fill out online forms, seek out relevant information and find jobs to help them to live a dignified life. Having her own laptop would make a huge difference in their lives. Thank you so much for helping them.
B is an asylum seeker who is very involved in all of our activities. He started studying at college this term, but has no laptop. This makes it hard for him to do his homework and access all the information and forms online. Thank you so much for helping B to get his own laptop so that he can access learning better.
S is an asylum seeker who has been given leave to stay, He has moved out of a house of multiple occupancy and temporary accommodation, where he was staying after a period of homelessness. He has found a job and a flat, but it is completely bare with no carpets or furnishings. Giving S a cooker and fridge will help him to start having hot meals with fresh food, which will help him work and study, and recover from the health problems he has been facing. Our church will meet any excess over £200.
