There is very little furniture in their new home and they are in urgent need of such items as a bed, a dining table and a chest of drawers. Their Social Worker is trying every avenue to help them furnish the home and has made this request on their behalf, to try and meet some of their furniture needs.

R has been living in shared accommodation for over seven years after splitting from his family. This was problematic, as his ten year old son could never stay with him, due to the risk posed by the other tenants. R has now been given his first home by Birmingham City Council, which means he can have his son to stay with him at weekends. However, he does not have a cooker. R would like to apply for donations from Acts 435 to buy a cooker so that he can cook meals for himself and his son, when he stays.
