£150 remaining for a school uniform
R is a single mum with two boys aged eight and eleven years of age. Mum is on low income and has no other support. She needs to buy school uniforms, especially for her older son who is moving to Secondary School and needs to get a completely new uniform. There is no way she can get the money to buy this and really needs our help.
We are helping a lady who has mental health issues and an unhappy relationship with alcohol. More than a third of her life has been spent with abusive and violent men and, having recently been locked out of the home she was sharing with her partner, she is now living alone, but without any white goods or furniture. We have been able to source a bed and fridge for her, but she needs a washing machine. Any help that you can give would be much appreciated. Thank you!

C has a son with Special Educational Needs who will will be moving to a Special Education School in September, which is seventeen miles away from their home. They have been offered a flat near to the school, which they have accepted, but they have no flooring. C is working with Christians Against Poverty to clear previous debts, as she does not want to get into debt again. She has asked for help towards the cost of the flooring, which will help make the new flat as comfortable as possible for them both.

We are working with a family where Nan is caring for her fifteen year old granddaughter, who has additional needs. They have to move to a different property very soon and are in need of a cooker for their new property. Nan is really struggling financially, due to delayed benefits and it would be such a help to the family if they are able to cook hot and healthy meals.
