Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
L is a disabled man who has just been moved to temporary council accommodation. He was told that he would be given support from the council to move, however, this never materialised and he had to spend all his monthly income on moving. L cannot afford a wardrobe or any storage. He is currently living among bags of clothes and cannot start to sort out his accommodation. L is on a very low income and is unable to work, due to his disability. He needs support to sort out his temporary accommodation.
Still £195 left to donate
Total needed £200M is a destitute migrant who is really struggling with getting to his therapy and college classes, due to transport costs. He has moved to South London, which is the other side of London to where his therapy sessions and support networks are. M sometimes misses classes because he has no money. Any help towards travel costs for the month would be massively appreciated.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150G, who has been working with Crosslight and is in a better place, has achieved a lot in this time. She used to get daily parking tickets because she could not afford a permit to park outside of her house. However, with determination, we've got this all sorted. Unfortunately, G's permit is coming to an end on Monday and she will be in the same position. She has applied for a new one, but she cannot afford it. A three month permit is £78.50. Please can you help to donate towards this?
