Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This woman, who recently lost her mother, turned to St Vincent de Paul for comfort. She has severe anxiety problems, therefore, she needs a lot of help. We humbly ask for your donations so that this woman, who has been dealing with her mother's death, multiple court appearances, and a tremendous deal of separation anguish, can have a two-night respite and four weeks of food parcels. This will be very beneficial to her, as she sorts through her worry and prepares for the burial.

This young man's relationship, which ended because of his excessive alcohol consumption and mental health issues, lost his home and was cut off from his children. The centre needs to support and encourage this man greatly. St Vincent de Paul humbly seeks donations to cover the cost of bed and breakfast for three nights and food for this gentleman. We value your assistance as we attempt to support this gentleman with alcoholism, mental health concerns and homelessness.
