Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

Total needed £100A is forty seven years old and has three children under the age of sixteen. He is a single dad and works as a self-employed taxi driver so he can work around the children. Dad has recently had a bad fall and has been unable to work, due to pain in his back. He has not been receiving any money, has quickly used what little savings he had and is really struggling now. We have put A in touch with the foodbank at our church and he is so grateful for this. Please could you help top-up their gas and electric and provide some food?

Total needed £200This client was referred to us after she was found to be struggling to make ends meet. Over the last few months, the lady and her seventeen year old son have experienced extreme poverty, due to low income, unemployment and increasing living costs. On top of this, the son has been experiencing depression and has attempted to take his own life. The partner social prescriber has recommended a respite trip which this support would cover and enable the family a time to re-coup, refresh and rest.
