Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
This single mum has returned home after completing a rehabilitation course and is actively engaging in her recovery programme. Unfortunately, while she was in rehab, her house was repossessed and she lost all her belongings. Mum is currently awaiting her Universal Credit claim to be processed, but in the mean time we are seeking support to get her some basic food and clothing to tide her over until her emergency payment comes through.
Still £120 left to donate
Total needed £145TK is a sixty two year old homeless Ethiopian who lost his job in Oxford. He has moved to London where he sleeps in the houses of friends, when he can, and visits the weekly food bank. The Job Centre has found TK a part-time job, while he awaits his welfare payment and housing entitlement. He needs a contribution towards rent, buying clothes for the job, and food on his journey to a fresh start. Please can you help TK to achieve a change in his life and realise that journey? Thank you.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200This single mother, who is living in London, has a two year old son with complex needs. Mum has found some treatment that is really helping, and her son is so much better. However, mum has had to pay for private health care for her son to receive the treatment he needs. A supermarket voucher to help pay for food and other essentials, and would really help this family while they recover from having to pay high hospital fees.
