This single mum has returned home after completing a rehabilitation course and is actively engaging in her recovery programme. Unfortunately, while she was in rehab, her house was repossessed and she lost all her belongings. Mum is currently awaiting her Universal Credit claim to be processed, but in the mean time we are seeking support to get her some basic food and clothing to tide her over until her emergency payment comes through.
Our client, F, is in need of a new oven. Unfortunately, his old one broke and he hasn't got enough money to replace it because he is paying off debts and is currently unemployed, seeking employment. Please can you help F?
A is now the legal guardian for her two grandchildren, as requested by the Home Office. The children relocated abroad over four years ago, but their parents became unable to care for them and both children now have mental health issues. A has received the children's element of Universal Credit, but has numerous unexpected expenses. She requires help to buy a blazer and sweatshirts for the younger child (the school are helping with other items) and suitable non uniform clothes for both.
This lady, who is in a very difficult relationship, is an asylum seeker who has nothing. A vacuum cleaner and a fan is really needed as she lives in a very small studio flat with no carpet, and a very young child who is now crawling.
