Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

This lady, who is an Afghan refugee, has had to leave her home, due to domestic violence. She has spent some time in a refuge, but has now moved in to her own place. Mum and her small children had to leave everything. Mum is particularly asking for help with the cost of wardrobes for herself and her children, as they have no storage. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
Still £35 left to donate
Total needed £150Mum and her two children have recently moved into a new home, following a relationship break up. She is struggling with finances and isn't currently working. Mum doesn't have any storage for her or the children. She is currently storing all of their clothes in bags in the living room. We would love to provide mum and her children with a new wardrobe. This would help to declutter the living room and give the family some space. Please could you help this family? Thank you!

Total needed £150J is a single mum who recently fled domestic violence and has been given a new home, but had to leave everything behind to start afresh. She lives too far away from a launderette to go and wash clothes. At present, they are having to wear the same clothes for several days at a time. This is causing some stress as the children are going to school with stained clothes and J always prides herself on the children’s appearance. She is on Universal Credit and her family are too far away to be able to help.

Total needed £200K is an Afghan single mother, aged twenty seven, with two children, aged four and two. About six months ago, K had to flee her home, due to domestic violence, and has recently been allocated a house. Neighbours very kindly provided her with a living room carpet. We are hoping to help provide a wardrobe and a chest of drawers which K does not currently have.
