Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

T has had her property broken into and the front door and some furniture have been damaged. Her fridge freezer is broken and she also needs a new settee. However, due to having to pay for repairs to her home, so she can feel safe and more comfortable, T does not have spare funds to purchase these. She is struggling with her mental health and is receiving support for this. T would appreciate any help with this.
Still £150 left to donate
Total needed £150S is living in a privately rented flat where the conditions are below standard. He has developed an illness that makes him unfit for work and he now spends most of his time in his flat. The problems are being addressed with his landlord and he is eligible for social housing. S is on low income until he receives an assessment for his disability, which could take several months. He has previously had Acts 435 support to buy a sofa and now needs a bed.

Total needed £150J is a lovely woman who is moving into temporary accommodation and just coming in off the streets. She has suffered extreme violence, has now been diagnosed with liver cancer and been given a year to live. J remains positive and friendly, and is not pushy in any way about asking for help. Her stay will be made comfortable by a microwave, slow cooker, kettle, toaster, cooking pans and utensils. These items can move on with J when she gets permanent accommodation.
