Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.

M has suffered serious mental ill health for years. She was still working, but this became so severe and made worse by being in a violent relationship and needing to flee. As a result, she accumulated debts which she was unable to pay back, as she was then on minimal benefits. M is slowly getting back on her feet and is now working with Christians Against Poverty. We have applied for a Debt Relief Order, so that she can be debt free, but she need the funds to complete the application.

Total needed £90J, a single lady, survives on benefits and suffers terribly with her mental health, meaning she is often unable to leave her bedroom for days on end. When she is well, J gets to have her two children for weekends. Unfortunately, she has no bedroom furniture and this makes her feel like a terrible mum, as the children have nowhere to put their clothes. This little family need our support. As mum has nobody else to turn to, this would mean so much to them all. It took a lot for mum to approach us for help. Thank you!

Total needed £150Some time ago, our church sourced a second hand bed for this man, who is unable to work because of mental and physical fragility. On seeing him this week, our Pastor discovered that his washing machine works only with cold water and has a door that is broken and leaking. It would be so helpful for him to have a replacement washing machine that uses hot water and does not leak. Please can you help?
