Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
After having a breakdown in 2020, L had to give up working and has been unable to return, due to suffering with her mental health. She is only sixty one years of age and this has been a really tough time for her. L has been moved into a flat with a communal area and she is now meeting new people, which is helping her gain more confidence. The flat has no flooring since the council removed it, leaving bare concrete floors. L has no money left out of her benefits to replace the carpets. Please can you help?
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200X, a UK resident who is also residing in Kenya, is an older person who is struggling with ill-health and had to recently return to the UK for hospital appointments. His current mobile is beyond repair and he is unable to effectively communicate with family in Kenya, and also with Hospitals and the Department of Works and Pensions. A new mobile phone would enable X to keep in touch with relevant family and UK agencies.
