Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
J is a mum of four children, including a baby. The family are living in a property which is not suitable for their needs. The eldest daughter has autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and mum is unable to work because of this. She struggles with low mood and finds it difficult to keep the home clean. The family's hoover recently stopped working and a replacement will help J to provide her family with a clean home, and help her feel in control of her home. This will positively impact her mental wellbeing.

He has been a client of our food bank for some time and we have witnessed him adopt a more positive attitude to life as time has gone by. Total needed £170L is a young man who has been struggling with ill health. He has lost a lot of weight and is currently undergoing various tests to try and find the cause. Due to his ill health, this young man is unable to work and now has a Support Worker who is hopefully going to help him budget. L's current fridge freezer is very small and unreliable and, on the advice of his GP, he must eat more. Please would you consider helping this young man to obtain a larger appliance so that he can store food he needs to help his health? Thank you.

Total needed £200This mum, who has three children, is rebuilding her home and life after fleeing domestic abuse. She is an amazing caring Christian who is always looking out for others. Mum set up a community meal and toddler group as well as working part-time and caring for her children. I found out that she hadn't had a fridge freezer for six months as it broke beyond repair and she hasn't been able to afford a new one.
