£0 remaining for reading glasses
J is a single mother who is working in a low paid job and on minimum wage. She came to us to ask for our help to sort out her entitlement to various benefits, but she is still having to pay back benefit overpayments, so money is still very tight. She needs prescription glasses and the pair she had were accidentally smashed. J is not eligible for a free eye test, so your support of £100 towards the cost of the test, and some new glasses, would be such an encouragement at this time.
L is a disabled man who has just been moved to temporary council accommodation. He was told that he would be given support from the council to move, however, this never materialised and he had to spend all his monthly income on moving. L cannot afford a wardrobe or any storage. He is currently living among bags of clothes and cannot start to sort out his accommodation. L is on a very low income and is unable to work, due to his disability. He needs support to sort out his temporary accommodation.
M is a single father to three children and is struggling to manage with his low income and the cost of essential items going up. While we are trying to support him with this, he has no funds available to buy his youngest daughter, who will be six years old, a small present on her birthday. Please can you help with this?
G, who has been working with Crosslight and is in a better place, has achieved a lot in this time. She used to get daily parking tickets because she could not afford a permit to park outside of her house. However, with determination, we've got this all sorted. Unfortunately, G's permit is coming to an end on Monday and she will be in the same position. She has applied for a new one, but she cannot afford it. A three month permit is £78.50. Please can you help to donate towards this?
