£0 remaining for kitchen equipment
S has lived in temporary housing since March 2022 and is waiting for a more permanent home. He has just been offered an adapted bungalow as he suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. S only has Universal Credit payments, as he awaits a medical. There will be a lot of expense involved in the move, including smaller items that can cost a lot of money. S would appreciate some help to purchase a microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery
Dad is currently caring for his three children who are all under three years old. Mum has recently abandoned the family, leaving the home and the children in very poor condition. Dad was working away and had to leave his employment to care for the children. He is hard working and trying to do his best, however, he is struggling financially. Dad has requested help with a washing machine to give his children clean clothes and make the significant changes needed in their home. Thank you.
S has no cooker, and is struggling financially because Universal Credit and PIP (Personal Independence Payments) have stopped her money. She is diabetic, and needs a cooker to enable her to cook fresh, healthy meals for her diet- ready meals put her at risk of going into hospital. She comes to our café at church on a Thursday, where she can get a fresh meal for a reasonable price. She moved to Rochdale recently because she had to leave her last home because there was a drug problem. She left her belongings when she moved into a flat and is sleeping on the floor at the moment.
A is currently living in temporary accommodation with her three young children. The house is covered in mould but A has little choice other than to stay there as she has nowhere else to go; she is constantly chasing the landlord to help with the mould problem. This property was unfurnished when she moved in and the fridge freezer which she had donated to her has stopped working and she has nowhere to store chilled and frozen food. A cannot afford to replace this out of her benefits.
