£0 remaining for food, clothes and travel
M is an asylum seeker from Pakistan who suffers with ill health, including heart problems and hypertension, and has had a heart operation. He lives in a hotel where food is provided, and receives £8.00 per week. However, the food is unsuitable for him and his doctor has recommended special food which he cannot afford to buy. M often has to walk to the hospital or to go and see his GP and he needs clothes. Life is very hard for him and he is desperate. Please would you help us to relieve him from despair and poverty?
This lady has decided to continue her education in the UK, however, due to her immigration status, she has to pay for the studies. S is currently enrolled on two courses, each costing £200. Thanks to a successful application to the Cost-of-Living Fund, one of the courses will be sponsored. Therefore, I would like to request assistance with funding the second course. Thank you for your understanding and kindness.
C, her husband and three children are asylum seekers who left their country to avoid their daughter being subjected to female genital mutilation. Also, their youngest son is autistic and the family were being harassed as a result. They are living in two small rooms in a hotel and C is not able to take the children out as her autistic son runs away. C urgently needs a buggy suitable for a 5-8 yr old child which will enable her to control his behaviour while attending appointments or outings.
N loves to try and keep active and wants to learn to swim. She has been in the UK for 16 years and has been destitute, therefore unable to afford a gym membership. She has now moved to a hosting placement in South London and is now close to a leisure centre. With your support she could sign up to the leisure centre for 3 months which would allow her to keep herself active whilst she waits for her asylum claim to be resolved. Doing exercise really helps with her mental health.
