£0 remaining for laundry and a new quilt
J is a very exhausted gran whose health is currently at breaking point. She is struggling day to day to manage a huge amount of laundry in a tiny flat while, at the same time, caring for her grandson who has very complex emotional needs and is doubly incontinent. Money is extremely short, as so much has to go on electricity, heating and laundry liquid. This money would cover a an extra quilt that she needs and four service washes to take the pressure off her for a month.
This family man is unable to work at present due to mental health problems for which he is receiving support from the mental health team. He receives Employment and Support Allowance and Personal Independence Payment. The integral gas oven is broken and the family has saved half the cost, but needs your help with the rest in order to cook proper meals. Thank you.
P is such a sweet gentleman who doesn't like to ask for help, but he really needs it. He has a chronic illness and has nothing left after he pays his bills, and for the care he receives. P has been referred to Citizens Advice for help, ensuring he is claiming all he is entitled to and to look at his extortionate care costs; however, it takes time to get this done. Please would you consider supporting P with some funds toward a shopping voucher so he can get himself some food and essentials? Thank you.
S and her husband have had a tough few years with ill health, both physical and mental, which has resulted in them accumulating debts. They have sought help and are in the process of trying to find the best debt solution for them. In the meantime they are struggling to buy basics and are having to choose between food and heating. Please would you consider helping this couple with a voucher towards food and essentials whilst they get the help they need to get their lives back on track? Thank you.
