£0 remaining for accommodation and food
This gentleman was recently released from the criminal justice system and was invited to visit the St Vincent de Paul (SVP) centre to explore what help we could provide. He is excited to assist with cleaning and set-up for both the day sessions and the night sessions. Additionally, he was successful in landing a place at a rehabilitation treatment facility. SVP is requesting three nights in a nearby bed and breakfast establishment, as a temporary stay before he moves to the rehabilitation housing, and a food package.
J, who has recently had a relationship breakdown, recently lost their mum, resulting in homelessness. With nowhere else to go and without access to benefits, these funds will allow for safe emergency accommodation for five nights in a hotel while figuring out the next necessary steps.
C, who has just moved into her first permanent home a couple of months ago, is a single parent with a one year old son and a baby due in the next couple of week time. There are bare floors which aren't very safe for the toddler. C would appreciate your support with purchasing a lounge carpet.
J has moved to the area with support from Social Services. He has a number of complex emotional and mental health needs and struggles to interact with people. We have found that he has no white goods in the home and we have been able to source a number of necessary larger items for him, but he still needs a number of smaller electricals such as a kettle, toaster, crockery, bedding and rugs on the floor to make his new accommodation more comfortable and feel like a proper home. He would be really grateful for the help.
