£0 remaining for shopping vouchers
L is a single lady who is struggling to get by, due to the cost of living crisis. She has been evicted and forced to move to a property with a much higher rent, which the local Housing Allowance does not cover. L has accumulated some debts, which she has sought help for from her local Citizens Advice. Would you please consider helping this lady with some shopping vouchers whilst we assist her and ensure she is receiving all the help she is entitled to? Thank you!
R is a single mum of three children who usually works in a care home. She is currently on maternity leave, but has been abandoned by the father of her baby and doesn't have access to public funds. R has insufficient money to cover even her rent, but particularly needs to continue to insure her car so that she can get her kids to school. Mum is unlikely to be able to return to work until January, due to health concerns, and would greatly appreciate any support she can get to pay key bills in the meantime.
This man, who became homeless when a relationship ended, slept in his work van for eight months. Unfortunately, a client didn't pay his bill, which spiralled this man into debt and he lost the business and ended up on the streets. This man has been in sheltered accommodation for two years, but now has his own flat. He receives Universal Credit and, due to other items he has had to buy, cannot afford a washing machine. With your help we can get him a second-hand machine with a warranty. Thank you.
F is currently doing really well working with Christians Against Poverty to pay off her debts. Unfortunately, the ceramic hob of her cooker has been permanently damaged and she has been advised it is unrepairable as the parts cannot be replaced. This means that F is now relying on the limitations of a microwave to cook meals for her and her son. To be able to return to cooking from scratch would help a lot with the current budget she is working from. F doesn't have sufficient funds to buy another cooker, so help to fund a new one would mean the world to her. Her adult son has agreed to help with the remaining amount needed, and F has been saving a little over several months too.
