£0 remaining for a monthly travel card (Zone 1-4)
This lady is an asylum-seeker who has recently arrived in the UK following persecution in her home country. She has moved in with a volunteer host who lives in Zone 4. Her church networks, volunteering and English classes are in Zone 1, so we are seeking a contribution towards a travel card that will help her to stay connected with the small Christian support network she has developed since arriving in the country. This is important for her mental wellbeing.
This vulnerable victim of trafficking has been refused a request for re-entering support by the Home Office and while we challenge this, he continues to struggle financially. Our applicant's phone has broken and he needs help to buy a new phone, as it is essential for him to be able to communicate with his legal team and support network. Our applicant has been staying with his girlfriend, but she is struggling to provide for both of them. Some assistance in paying the bills would really help this young person to participate in their living costs.

L, who is in her early fifties, has been a live-in carer for her elderly mother for many years, but became homeless following the passing of her mother at the end of last year. L is now living with a volunteer host in North London whilst she is supported to rebuild her life. Her church and friends are in South London and we would like to support L with a monthly bus pass so she can continue to engage with her support networks, as she has recently signed up to do some volunteering.

M has a diabetic daughter and requires a fridge for her medication, but the fridge freezer has broken and this is causing issues for her daughter's health. M has recently stopped working, in order to support her daughter through her recent diagnosis, and to support her son with his mental health. They are currently living on benefits and are unable to afford to purchase a fridge freezer. They would really appreciate your support. Many thanks!
