£0 remaining for a second-hand cooker and fridge freezer
This lady has been in temporary accommodation for the last two years, having been made homeless by her private landlord. This lady has severe physical health disabilities which prevent her working and she survives on benefits. Last year, Christians Against Poverty where able to help her to become debt free through a Debt Relief Order. A local housing association has found this lady a flat and is supplying a bed, a sofa and washing machine. She is seeking our help to get a cooker and fridge freezer for this unfurnished flat, and is happy to buy second-hand.
Our lovely client is a single mum who is working with us to clear her debts and change the outlook for her family. Sadly, due to previous trauma, both her and her children suffer from a variety of mental health issues and her youngest has recently received a further diagnosis. Due to their additional needs, they need help with their mobility. We're asking for help to purchase a disability pushchair, which would enable mum and her child to get out and about as normally as possible. Thank you!

G, who is suffering from grief following his daughter's death from Sepsis in July 2023, has chronic illnesses and mobility issues which stop him from working. He has recently had his property renovated and decorated by the Housing Association, as it was in a terrible condition. G's grandson comes to stay and he would like to be able to cook for him, but currently only has a microwave. Please can you help him?
