£0 remaining for a Debt Relief Order
This gentleman has struggled with poor mental and physical health for many years. Recent difficulties with a house move have caused a build up of debt from which he is unable to climb out of, due to his low income. Thankfully, he is being supported by the local Christians Against Poverty debt centre and is eligible for a Debt Relief Order. This will give him a much needed clean slate, when it comes to his finances, and free him up to face the considerable daily challenges in other areas of his life. Thank you for your consideration.
L was pregnant and told she would have to sleep in her car as there was no accommodation for her. After giving birth, and a short stay in temporary accommodation, she now has a flat, but it's unfurnished. L's baby is under ten weeks old and she needs to be able to cook warm, nutritious meals to ensure she has the energy to supply the milk her baby needs, and care for him as best she can. They are doing everything they can to improve their situation, but the cost of furnishing a whole flat is too much!
S is a thirty six year old woman who is currently working hard on her recovery in order for her children, who are currently in foster care, to be returned to her. She is having counselling, accessing other support services and working to make the house safe for the children to return to. We are asking for money for S to hire a skip to remove items from the home. She is rebuilding her life and is showing great commitment in doing this. Your support would further add to S's ability to move forward
