£0 remaining for flooring
K lived in a privately rented flat which was damp and in disrepair, due to landlord inaction. He was forced to move in with his brother who, whilst arguing, threatened him with a knife. K became homeless and was placed in temporary housing, but was unable to have his son to stay with him. He suffers with his mental health and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), which has worsened. K has been offered a permanent flat where he can settle and have his son to stay, but he needs some flooring for his new house to make it a home.
This gentleman is in the process of dealing with problem debt, with the help of the local Christians Against Poverty debt centre. In the process, he is needing to separate himself from the charges that have been crippling him month by month. For various reasons, this is taking longer than expected so he continues to struggle with the cost of essentials. This money, if raised, will top-up his electricity meter, giving some much needed breathing space while things are being worked out.
This gentleman has been waiting for some time for a house move which will really benefit his mental health, moving closer to support networks which will be of real help to him. Living solely on benefits and having had to deal with some debt problems to allow this move to take place, means he cannot afford the cost of removal. Supported by a local ‘man with a van,’ this funding will mean the move can take place at reduced cost. Thank you for your consideration.
C has severe and enduring mental health and, due to this, is currently unable to work. His fridge has recently broken and he has no ability to replace it and, as such, can no longer shop in a cost effective way as he cannot store food. C would like to be able to eat healthy food and is struggling to do this without the ability to store the food properly. Please can you help?
