£0 remaining for accommodation
This gentleman has been requested to temporarily vacate his supported housing, due to failing an alcohol test. The current regulations state that he must leave the shared accommodation to prevent potential issues, and he acknowledges the risks associated with a relapse. We are asking for your help to temporarily house this gentleman for four nights in bed and breakfast. The supported Housing Association has indicated that they will conduct a re-test, and if he tests negative, this gentleman will be welcomed back into the house.
This gentleman came to the centre in a distressed state, having been given a seven day notice to leave a South East Essex Homes property in Southend. He is also a type 2 diabetic who is insulin-dependent, making it highly inconvenient and unsafe for him to be on the street. We urgently request your help to house this gentleman for three nights, and provide food parcels for this period, while we collaborate with sister agencies to find a more permanent housing solution.
This young person, a vulnerable asylum seeker and torture survivor, requires your support to help him attend meetings with his solicitor in order to prepare his asylum appeal. Travelling to London from his Home Office accommodation costs him £30, therefore, £120 would cover four meetings and allow him to work with his solicitor in preparing his appeal.
This mother, who was referred to us by a sister organisation, is living in local authority accommodation which has developed a severe mould problem. As a result, mum was forced to move into temporary housing until the issue was resolved. Now that she has returned to her home, many of her belongings are damaged beyond repair. Mum urgently needs a new bed and mattress, among other things. Any help towards this endeavour will be greatly appreciated.
