£0 remaining for electric and gas
M, a single mum, has managed to clear all her debts off and is starting a new, better paid job which will help the family enormously. However, she is a long way from home so travelling costs are more. M has just been informed that she has to work two weeks in advance. This means that, after paying for rent, school pack-ups, bus and tram passes and food, she cannot put the electricity and gas on. Her neighbours are helping with hot meals. Please can you help M with electric and gas for two weeks?
P, a retired gentleman with multiple health conditions, has just been discharged from hospital, following a long illness. He is in the process of moving into supported living and is need of an electric cooker, as the property does not come with appliances. Your generous donation will be very much appreciated.
This request is for a single mum and her three boys who have fled domestic abuse. The family has been given a house by the local housing association and can finally leave the shelter. There is nothing in the property and, although we have been able to source lots of furniture and flooring, there is no washing machine. Mum needs a machine for the three different school uniforms and clothes the kids go through. Please can you help?
M and her husband, who have been homeless for a while, were recently offered temporary shared accommodation and have now moved in. M says that when they moved in, all they had was a bed and nothing else. She is struggling financially to purchase kitchen utensils, a wardrobe and chest of drawers, an armchair to ease her back pains, some bedding, and a dining table and chairs.
