£0 remaining for a used motor engine for a wheelchair
R is an asylum seeker who came to the UK with his family. His daughter is suffering from Microcephaly and her parents are facing difficulties in pushing her wheelchair, due to her heavy weight as they are elderly. They are seeking your help so that they can buy a used motor engine which can be installed in the wheelchair and will help them in moving her in the wheelchair.
T had her own place and spent all her money on doing it up a few years ago. Sadly, after being a key witness, she has had to move for her own safety. T has had to start all over again and, although she has saved, she needs help to put flooring in the lounge. She is doing really well, has built a better life for herself and is really helping many others. Please will you help T to make this fresh start?
Safe Families are supporting an Iranian refugee who arrived in the UK in the summer 2023, with his twelve year old son. They have recently been rehoused and do not have a vacuum cleaner, microwave or all of the kitchen equipment that they need, such as cutlery and crockery. The family is on a low income and does not have the finances to equip the home. We would love to provide them with a voucher so dad can prioritise his and his son’s requirements, and purchase some items for their new home.
This lady, who is also the primary carer for her husband who lost his mobility, needs bed bug treatment. Unfortunately, their home is infested with bed bugs and, even though a new bed is being bought, their home needs to be treated for the bed bugs to avoid a repeat. This pest issue has brought undue pain and hardship to them, causing them to move out of their home. This lady will be glad if her request is granted so that she can return to normal life.
