£0 remaining for a wardrobe
Our client lives with her partner, who is self-employed, and her dependent children, aged twelve and six. Mum stopped working in July 2023, due to stress related symptoms, and is currently on medication which causes low mood, anxiety and a lack of motivation. Our client is on sick pay and her husband’s income fluctuates, therefore, it is not a stable income. Mum has been advised to claim Universal Credit to further maximise her income. Please can you help them to buy a wardrobe?
Our client, F, is in need of a new oven. Unfortunately, his old one broke and he hasn't got enough money to replace it because he is paying off debts and is currently unemployed, seeking employment. Please can you help F?
A is now the legal guardian for her two grandchildren, as requested by the Home Office. The children relocated abroad over four years ago, but their parents became unable to care for them and both children now have mental health issues. A has received the children's element of Universal Credit, but has numerous unexpected expenses. She requires help to buy a blazer and sweatshirts for the younger child (the school are helping with other items) and suitable non uniform clothes for both.
This lady, who is in a very difficult relationship, is an asylum seeker who has nothing. A vacuum cleaner and a fan is really needed as she lives in a very small studio flat with no carpet, and a very young child who is now crawling.
