£0 remaining for a car repair
L is a single mum to two children, who is living on Universal Credit, which I was alerted to as a governor of her children's school. Mum has been abandoned by her partner, who was the breadwinner and, as a result, has got into debt and is under severe pressure from her creditors. I have delivered free food parcels round to her and her children, and found L needed to have her car repaired to be able to drive her four year old boy and six year old girl to school, but had no money for the quoted repair.
L had a house fire on the 22nd of March that gutted the bedroom, and smoke damaged the rest of her house. She has brain damage, as well as other disabilities, and her adult daughter stays with her to care for her. Due to only receiving Employment and Support Allowance and disability benefits, L cannot afford a carpet. Please can you help?
We are assisting our client to apply for Family Reunion for his wife in Uganda, who is a refugee from Sudan. His wife is currently experiencing extreme hardship and does not have any money or food. Our client can only afford to send limited support. We are seeking funding from you to provide financial help to our client, so he can send this to his wife to buy food and living essentials whilst waiting for a decision on the Family Reunion application. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Our client, a single parent from China who is living in Sussex and struggling with the English language, is currently having treatment for breast cancer. Mum is currently experiencing sever difficulties with damp in her house. She has tried opening windows all day and all night, but it is not helping. The landlord blames her, but she believes the damp is coming from the outside in. The mould is starting to get into her and her son's clothes and private possessions, and mum is worried about their lungs.
