£0 remaining for a British Sign Language interpreter
M, who is deaf, also does not understand written English which makes her life very isolated. She is a single mother who came to us with a significant debt problem. We have struggled to support her and need to pay for a British Sign Language interpreter to explain the details of her debt options. Registered interpreter’s charge £130 per session. An interpreted appointment will enable M to find a way forward and release her from the stress of her accumulated debt.
Our client, F, is in need of a new oven. Unfortunately, his old one broke and he hasn't got enough money to replace it because he is paying off debts and is currently unemployed, seeking employment. Please can you help F?
A is now the legal guardian for her two grandchildren, as requested by the Home Office. The children relocated abroad over four years ago, but their parents became unable to care for them and both children now have mental health issues. A has received the children's element of Universal Credit, but has numerous unexpected expenses. She requires help to buy a blazer and sweatshirts for the younger child (the school are helping with other items) and suitable non uniform clothes for both.
This lady, who is in a very difficult relationship, is an asylum seeker who has nothing. A vacuum cleaner and a fan is really needed as she lives in a very small studio flat with no carpet, and a very young child who is now crawling.
