G is doing her GCSEs and her mum (B) is very proud of her as she is working very hard towards her exams. B can't work, due to her health, and doesn't have spare funds after her bills are paid. She volunteers in the community and is very supportive of people who are going through recovery from addiction. She hopes that her daughter will do well in her exams as she is very determined. A laptop will help G to do her coursework, especially media, as she hopes to get into editing video and work in TV when she's older.

A is now the legal guardian for her two grandchildren, as requested by the Home Office. The children relocated abroad over four years ago, but their parents became unable to care for them and both children now have mental health issues. A has received the children's element of Universal Credit, but has numerous unexpected expenses. She requires help to buy a blazer and sweatshirts for the younger child (the school are helping with other items) and suitable non uniform clothes for both.
