£0 remaining for living room flooring
P is a single mum with two children under the age of four. She is unable to work, due to a long term and ongoing mental health illness, and the need to look after her children. P was recently moved to a new home which has no floor covering in the living room. She really wants to buy lino flooring to make it comfortable and hygienic for her growing children.
K, a cleaner for a wealthy lady, has been evicted, needed to find new housing and has lost her job. She is very dynamic and a go getter, but is beset with health problems. K has chronic arthritis and is about to have an operation on her foot which will mean she won't be able to work for twelve months. She has been given housing and we are helping her furnish it, but it comes without a cooker. Please can you help K to get a cooker?
This young man is rural homeless and comes to us for food and friendship. He is getting ready for the winter and lives in a variety of local woodland areas. Out of choice, he doesn't want to live in a traditional dwelling, but desperately needs a new pair of waterproof shoes that he will 'live' in. We would love to get these for him. Thanks so much for thinking of others and considering this request.
J is a single man who has been living in supported accommodation. He is on a considerable amount of medication for schizophrenia, anxiety, and arthritis in his legs. He is moving to council housing which is completely empty. J is excited about his move, but has no furniture, and as he is only in receipt of Employment Support Allowance he is unable to afford any. We are requesting support for an oven for when he moves.
