J, a young mum of one child, has found herself in a very difficult situation following a relationship breakdown. She can't afford to stay where she is as her rent is more than half of her income from work and Universal Credit, and she is desperate to move. J has amassed several large debts and has sought help from Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), who are helping her to find the best debt solution and are looking into her housing situation. Please would you consider supporting this family with food and basic essentials? Thank you.
This young woman, who is autistic and also suffers from clinical post traumatic stress disorder, receives Universal Credit and is applying for personal Independence Payment. She has recently been given a house so she can live independently, although family are close by. There are no carpets in the house so it is very echoey. This does not help this young woman's sensory overload and she finds it quite distressing. Her mum has sourced a lounge carpet plus fitting. Can you please help her get the carpet she needs?
