£0 remaining for nursery fees
DB is a young single mum who works part-time whilst claiming benefits. Due to the thresholds of Universal Credit, her wages often mean she is classed as earning above their threshold and she then receives no benefits. This has put incredible pressure on DB, as she has to pay additional nursery fees to attend work, and also travel to and from work and nursery. She currently owes the nursery £200 in fees and has no means of clearing this debt without accruing debt somewhere else.

N is fifty four years of age and is a carer for her grown up son, who has autism. Mum is feeling very isolated, as she can barely leave the house, due to being with her son 24/7 because of his behaviour. Recently, N reached out to different charities for help and has been referred to us. During a visit, she told us that her son`s bed and bedding is badly soiled. Mum has no way of replacing the bed, as there is no money left out of the benefits, once all the bills have been paid. Please could you help?
A is in need of a double bed, due to the family having been rehoused and having to leave everything behind. They are currently sleeping on the floor. The family speaks very little English and is being supported by a Social Worker and Health Visitors. Their living conditions are very poor and they have no family to help them. A charity has donated children’s beds, but please can you help us to provide A with a double bed?
