£0 remaining for a Post Graduate visa
This beautiful Nigerian couple, who have lovely children, have been studying in the UK for the last year. Having enjoyed the sense of safety and peace in Scotland, they strongly desire to stay here now that the university course has ended. They have two young daughters and the cost for the whole family to get a Post Graduate visa for two years is extremely expensive. Through the grace of God and His wonderful provision, they have almost raised enough money for the visas. Thank you so much for your support with the final £200.
This singe mother has two teenagers, one of whom is dependent on 24/7 care after suffering from a severe brain injury with multiple seizures per day. Mum was sexually exploited resulting in severe mental and physical challenges. The family have refugee status in temporary accommodation (while awaiting permanent housing) with a small, hotel sized fridge freezer. Mum cooks fresh and is forced to visit the supermarket two or three times per day, taking her daughter as she can't be left alone. Mum also travels ten miles a day by bus to where her daughter attends school.
Mum has recently had her benefits reduced as one of her children has moved out of the home to be with dad. She had unexpected bills recently for her car and a broken bed, which she managed to pay. Mum also needs new bedding, but it will be a while before she will be able to buy this. Please could you help us provide this for the family? We hope to provide a duvet and all the bed sheets required.
This family, including two children, has been struggling with the uncertainly of homelessness for a few years and has recently secured a permanent place to live. They are living on a tight budget, struggling financially, and have been without a cooker for about four months. So far, all other avenues for help have not come through. They have been using a microwave instead, but would benefit from being able to have a working cooker in their new property. Thank you for considering this request!
