£0 remaining for pots, pans, kitchen essentials and a kettle
These young parents (mum is nineteen and dad is twenty) have a daughter who is one and a newborn baby. They are receiving support through Social Services, but are in need of pots, pans, kitchen essentials and a kettle. If you are able to help this young family, it would be very much appreciated.
S is a single father with two children, aged four and nine. Due to genetic and health factors, the children suffer from incontinence at night which necessitates one child needing a new mattress and another child needing a full new bed. Father, who is not able to work and is on benefits, struggles with his finances and is receiving help to sort these out, and also support with budgeting. S can purchase these items from a local charity shop and would appreciate any help. Thank you.
H, an asylum seeking single mum of six, is living in the UK with three of the children, aged eight, eighteen months and three months old. She receives National Asylum Support Service (NASS) and housing at the moment. H is struggling to make ends meet and cannot work at the moment, due to her pending application. She needs financial support to buy milk, nappies and travel money to continuous hospital appointments for her older daughter, due to her physical health.
A is a single dad to three children aged ten, twelve and fourteen. He has always worked until a nasty fall has made it currently impossible to work. Dad is self-employed and is quickly running out of his savings. He will have no way of affording the children's school uniforms and shoes, and there are no items that can be handed down. The eldest two also need new blazers. Dad is at his wits end as to what to do. Please could you take some pressure off A, who is doing a great job?
