£0 remaining for flooring
U, who is a lone parent and mother of two children, aged seven and ten years old, recently lost her job. At present, this family relies on benefits. U needs money for new flooring as the old, thin PVC floor covering has worn out and there is no insulation underneath, so the flat is very cold during the winter.

A is now the legal guardian for her two grandchildren, as requested by the Home Office. The children relocated abroad over four years ago, but their parents became unable to care for them and both children now have mental health issues. A has received the children's element of Universal Credit, but has numerous unexpected expenses. She requires help to buy a blazer and sweatshirts for the younger child (the school are helping with other items) and suitable non uniform clothes for both.
