£0 remaining for decorating costs
My Client recently lost her job as a Prison Officer and has been referred to our charity for family support. When we met, she explained that she was a victim of domestic violence and had to move quickly to a council house with her baby son. This has left her with no money. I have supported her to get a washing machine, but would like to support her to get the house decorated and make it feel like a home for her and her son. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
This gentleman struggled to get accommodation after coming out of prison. He has worked with agencies to get help him and now has accommodation. This gentleman has managed to get some basics that he needs, but due to his low income and being reliant on benefits, he is struggling to get everything for his accommodation, and cannot afford a washing machine.
J, who has recently been released from prison, is in employment, however, he has seen his hours reduce. He is currently living weekly and choosing each week between heating and electricity, as can only afford one, not both. We have seen J's standard of living decrease greatly, along with his mental health. We are keen to get things back on stable footing and would look to support him with bedding, gas and electricity, food, cleaning and household items.
PH, who needs your help, is on a low income. Debt forces him to walk one and a half hours each way for food and support, a struggle for him due to limited mobility. A free driving theory course and training could change his life, but he needs a bus pass to attend. He also often chooses between food and heat. Please would you donate to give PH a hand up, not a handout, and help him build a brighter future? Any amount helps!
