He is a particularly vulnerable individual, as he has learning difficulties and also lives with the effects of a brain injury sustained from a fall two years ago. He receives personal independence payments but has insufficient funds for white goods and is keen to be more independent. £150 is required for a fridge to enable him store his food safely and reduce shopping bills.
