This extremely vulnerable young woman, who has been a victim of rape and sexual abuse, is moving to sheltered accommodation so that she feels safe in her home and so that her attacker no longer knows where she lives. This woman lives, who lives alone and has no family support, cannot afford a car so has no way of moving her valuables to her new property, and has no means to pay for the removal van herself.

Our applicant, who has two young children, is struggling to afford to pay his electricity bill and has requested for a meter to be installed, rather than have a standard monthly bill which is difficult to pay and monitor. He is currently receiving Statutory Sick Pay because of being absent from work, due to struggling with his mental health and the bereavement of his mother to suicide.
