Give to someone in need
Acts 435 is about giving to people directly, to help them bridge the gap when they are facing a financial crisis.
Can you help a specific person in need?
Read stories of the applicants below and give as you feel able. Any amount will make a big difference to someone who is struggling.
You can instead make a general donation and the Acts 435 team will allocate it to the most urgent requests.
C is a single lady who has just moved to the UK on a shortage of skilled worker's visa to work in the care industry, but was turned down by her employer on arrival. At the moment she is sofa surfing at a friend's house, has been helping with bills and buys her own food. C has run out of the savings she came in with and is in need of support with gas and electric vouchers, as well as vouchers to buy food, as she is really struggling.
Still £200 left to donate
Total needed £200KG, a single mum with children, has never had her own photo ID, due to the cost of ordering it, which has affected her ability to access Government services and some bank accounts. KG would like help in order to get her first ever passport.
Still £85 left to donate
Total needed £85C, who has recently fled domestic violence and has been rehoused for her safety, is autistic and struggles with her mental health, meaning she has been out of work for some time. She would love to receive help towards paint, wallpaper and flooring in her new home, in the form of a B&Q gift card. This would really help C to settle into her new home and feel safe and secure.
