£0 remaining for emergency accommodation
W has recently become homeless and has been robbed of all his possessions while asleep on the streets. He has been trying to access help, but his situation has declined and he is now struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. We are supporting W into residential rehabilitation but, while we do, we need to pay for a hotel for five days. We have found a good deal which will help stabilise his situation while we arrange his move to rehab with the drug team and Social Services.
This young man has come from a troubled background and is wanting a fresh start. Coming up to Christmas, he has felt quite lonely and with not much to show for his short life. This would mean so much to him, enabling him to make his safe place home-like and clean. Thanks to you all.
This gentleman is a former refugee from Iran, and is now a student with very little income. He has recently been moved out of a hostel into rented accommodation but has absolutely nothing to furnish it and there is nothing left to purchase items once he has paid his bills. He has no bed and has been sleeping on the floor since December. As he has back and leg problems this is causing him a lot of pain. He is also in need of basic kitchen equipment so he can cook for himself.
M has recently been released from prison and we are helping support him into employment. He has opportunities of employment that would require his driving licence which he needs to re-apply for. Would love any support you can to allow us to help him get this booked in so he can get his life back on track? Thanks very much.
