£0 remaining for a cooker
This client and her child have recently relocated with help from the Homeless Prevention team. Mum is currently on a low income, as she is in receipt of Universal Credit and Carers Allowance, due to caring for her adult disabled daughter who is also vulnerable. They are both in desperate need of a cooker as they currently without one and unable to purchase one. This would make a huge, positive impact on their livelihood, being able to cook regular hot meals at home.
P is is a recent prison leaver who is looking to get back into work. He had previously had a successful career, but lost everything as a result of his offence, and is now working to rebuild what he had. Thankfully, we have secured P a job as a delivery driver, but he needs his birth certificate as proof of his right to work in the UK. He would also really benefit from his first day's bus travel to work, to take one extra stress of his plate. Please will you help us support P into this role?
