Our applicant has water penetrating into their living room through their bay window and needs some repairs to the roof. They have had some quotes for the cost, and the excess on their insurance is £350. The applicant is no longer able to work and has to live on benefits. Please can you help with this final balance?
This lady, who was brought up in care from the age of five, has had a partner and two children, one aged two and one born at end of November. Sadly, the baby died after two weeks and mum's partner left her. There had to be an investigation and mum is awaiting the court's decision, but nothing has been found wrong. This lady has no family support and is doing her laundry in the sink because her washing machine has broken. Please can you help her to purchase a washing machine which will help to ease her anxiety and stress?

D, who has recently been released from prison, has four young children and is hoping to re-establish contact with them. He has had six years to reflect on his own story and is determined to do all he can to see his children brought up positively. Each time I have met D, he has worn the same clothes and is acutely embarrassed by this. He feels that he will present very shabbily, especially to his children. New clothes would have a really positive effect on D and his aspirations to begin his life anew.

This young person, who came to us via Social Services, struggles with mental health issues and is extremely isolated from society. He has virtually nothing in his property, which makes his house feel unlike a home. Your generosity would enable him to buy some bedding, kitchen accessories, a coffee table and a vacuum cleaner. I feel this would make a massive difference to such a lovely young man who has faced many adversities in his start to life. Thank you so much!
