£0 remaining for rent
M and G came to England from Nigeria in October 2023 with two young children, arriving at our church in late December, where they soon became very active members. They are both actively looking for work and are willing to take on any job to provide for their family. Last week, G's sister, who lived in America, passed away very suddenly, and the whole family are devastated. And now, with no income until they can find work, they have two weeks to find the balance due on their rent. They are only short of £180 towards this month's rent and are praying that they will both soon find full time work so that they can support themselves. Living in a different culture has been difficult for all the family, but not being able to support his family is hard for M.
This thirty three year old mum has had to flee domestic violence, leaving everything behind, and is doing her best to get a home together for her five and one year old children. Mum is in need of a cot bed and mattress for her youngest child and she would be grateful for help with this.
J, who came to us after living in a hostel for over nine months, has been homeless, on and off, his whole adult life. This client urgently needs some new footwear, as his trainers are literally falling apart and he owns very little clothes. J is on a very low income and he is ready for a fresh start, which involves making a routine. I would like him, if possible, to have a gym membership for his mental wellbeing and some new trainers and gym pants. Many thanks in advance.
A, whose mum passed away two weeks ago, is in this country from Latvia because his mum became sick, was disabled and lived alone in the UK. He has no family here and very few friends. Sadly, A has very little support and he needs support towards the cost of her funeral. Could you please contribute and support him in his time of need? Thank you.
