£0 remaining for a double mattress
Our client had a stroke on the right side of his body, causing him to be hospitalised since summer 2022. He has also suffered a relationship breakdown and could have been homeless when discharged from the Stroke Unit. Our client has recently secured some accommodation, but it is completely empty. A bed would ensure that he is as comfortable as possible on discharge. However, as our client is in receipt of Universal Credit, he cannot afford a mattress. Thank you so much for reading this.
