£0 remaining for a washing machine
This client has asked for help because her washing machine continually breaks down and she can't afford to buy a replacement. She is a single mother who has five children, aged three to sixteen years old. Mum's eldest daughter went to school in November and ended up in hospital. She was sent home with antibiotics, but died suddenly two days later from silent pneumonia. The family are struggling emotionally and financially, and coping without a washing machine makes things extra difficult. Please can you help?
This young man has just left care and entered an uncertain world. He has had some very dark and trying times, and finds it hard to see the good in the world. This young man has had to fight for anything he has ever had. He finds himself in a house that is less than perfectly equipped, and has absolutely nothing in the world bar the clothes he is wearing and a few carrier bags of belongings. Bedding, kitchen items, a vacuum cleaner and a couch would mean so much to this person, by showing him there is good and kindness in this big world he is about to enter.
This young lady, who has failed her asylum claim, along with her brother, has no access to access public funds and is struggling to maintain a living with adequate resources. These funds will be used to provide three weeks worth of food and travel tickets plus some toiletries to enable this young lady to remain active in community learning and events for her wellbeing.
Safe Families are currently supporting this mum of five children who has been separated from her children, due to poor home conditions. Mum has worked hard to declutter the home and they, hopefully, will be able to return home soon. One final piece of the puzzle is that mum is in need of a living room carpet to allow her children to play safely. She doesn't work and this isn't something she is able to afford on her own. Safe Families would love to bless this family with a carpet and help them get home.
